About

THE FOOD MILL

Nourishing The Chattahoochee Valley Through Accessible, Nutritional Food

The Food Mill exists to eliminate barriers and solve issues that lead to food insecurity in the Columbus community, with a focus on community wellness. The North Highlands community, located between 2nd Avenue and River Road, has one of the highest rates of nutrition insecurity in Columbus and is a specific focus area of The Food Mill.

Nutrition insecurity leads to a variety of issues, including poor health and oftentimes preventable diseases. By creating access to healthy food and building a health minded culinary culture, The Food Mill seeks to reduce the burden of food insecurity for residents.
